History of Omicron Zeta The Texas Alpha colony began at Prairie View A&M University in the Spring of 1993. The chief person involved in starting the colony was Sinfonian Artemis G. Nelson. Nationals recognized the colony as a full-fledged chapter under the name "Omicron Zeta" on September 9th, 1995.
